First, is it claims to be a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I’m not a Volkswagen guy, but I’m like 70% confident this wasnt a 2009 model.
Second, is its price at $6,000. Which is way to high for a Volkswagen of questionable vintage with 130,000 miles.
Third, it turns into a Cutlass halfway through the pictures...
By the way, that 70% confident should have a /s with it.

Definitely not an ‘09. The ‘09 was a MK5. This is a MK4. CP

There is so much win in this ad, I can’t even pick my favorite part.
This is most likely a 1999 Cabrio, commonly referred to as a Mk3.5. All it is, is a MK3 Cabrio, with a Mk4 Golf front clip.

The high price is due to its shape shifting abilities.

Ah. Like how convertibles are normally a year behind their coupe counterparts. Would make sense.

My former neighbor had one of these (as a Golf though) but for some reason it was a TDI model. Who on earth decides to buy a cabriolet with a diesel?

NP All the way. 6000 dollars for a Tardis? It’s a great deal, they are showing off the shape shifting ability. Curiously they decided not to have the interiors bigger. Maybe it’s got a secret access door somewhere to prevent the tardis revealment.
